Mrs. Hinman is currently serving as the Director of Cascade Academy of Music and Arts.  She graduated in 1992 with degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Oregon State University. She has taught Middle School and High School Choirs in the Puget Sound area. She has also served as a clinician at Choral Workshops in the King Co. and Snohomish Co. school districts.  Laurie has soloed with several churches in the area and with the Skagit Valley Chorale.

 Her experience in theatre includes opera, musicals, and stage plays both in the cast, as a lead part, and as a director.

Mrs. Hinman is wife to Jeff, and a homeschooling mom of 8.  Having graduated their oldest , they continue to school the others.  Jeff and Laurie have a heart for music and for kids.   They are excited to see this program grow and flourish under God's direction.
