Cascade Academy of Music & Arts Strings Program is offered Thursday evenings.  This class is designed for beginning and intermediate string players.  CAMA's strings program is in it's infancy, with much room for growth.  Come and join us!   

 

Students may play one of the following instruments:

Violin

Viola

Cello

String Bass

Harp

Auxiliary Percussion

Students need to provide their own instrument. CAMA has used local music stores for instruments, such as:

• Kennelly Keys, located in Everett, Lynwood, Bellevue, and Seattle. 

• Hugo Helmer, located in Burlington. 

 

Books may be purchased at our front desk for $10. CAMA uses book designed for an orchestral setting, the "Essential Elements" series. Students must bring books, instruments, bows, pencils, tuner, and rosin to class. Items listed below can be bought at our front desk.

Should a student neglect in bringing their music, there will be a 25 cent borrowing fee for a rented set of music, in which the music is returned at the end of class. Loss of music will result in a $15 fee that will be charged to replace the sheet music.
